County police charge Dundalk man with theft

County police said they charged a Dundalk man with theft and attempted theft after finding him and two juveniles allegedly trying to break into cars in the 200 block of Water Fountain Circle.

Christopher K. Dwojewski of the 900 block of Oakleigh Beach Road also was charged with destruction of property, police said.

The two teen-agers with him were charged with theft and destruction of property, police said.

According to the police report, officers found the suspects hiding in a Ford station wagon after residents called police to report several suspicious people in the parking lot.

While questioning them, officers learned that other cars in the area had been broken into and that the station wagon they were using was reported stolen in Baltimore County on Thursday.

* Arundel Hills: Burglars broke into a home in the 1600 block of Bedford Road sometime between 10 p.m. Friday and 9:15 a.m. Sunday and took tools valued at $40.

* Glen Ridge: A resident of the 200 block of Crain Court reported to police that someone broke into her apartment Friday. Police do not know exactly what was taken.

* Glen Burnie: Thieves broke into a 1990 Ford pickup truck that was parked in the 100 block of Forestdale Ave. Saturday night and took several power tools. The value of the property was not known.

* Glen Burnie: Burglars broke into a home in the 200 block of Second Ave. Friday and took a color television valued at $400.
