Atlanta Braves -- Agreed to terms with 1B Ryan Klesko, OF Keith Mitchell, P Pete Smith, P Donnie Elliott, P Matt Murray and P Brian Bark (Randallstown) on one-year contracts. Announced that Willie Stargell, roving hitting instructor, will become special assistant to the director of scouting and player development.

California Angels -- Agreed to terms with P Scott Sanderson on a one-year contract.

Houston Astros -- Agreed to terms with former Orioles P Pete Harnisch on a one-year contract.

Kansas City Royals -- Agreed to terms with OF Chris Gwynn on a one-year contract.
