Presidents Day Closings

On Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 15:

* Carroll County government offices will be closed.

* County public schools and school system offices will be closed.

L * Carroll County Circuit and District courts will be closed.

* The Department of Social Services will be closed.

* All branches of the Carroll County Public Library will be closed.

* All Carroll County senior centers will be closed.

* The Northern and Hoods Mill landfills will be open for normal operating hours, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

* The Recycling Center on Route 97 north of Westminster will be open for normal hours, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

* The Westminster Post Office, 83 E. Main St., will be open, with window service from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

* Banks will be closed.

* Hampstead town offices will be closed. The Town Council meeting is moved to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Trash service is not affected.

* Manchester town offices will be closed. A planning and zoning commission meeting has been moved to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22. Trash service is not affected.

* Mount Airy town offices will be closed.

* New Windsor town offices will be closed.

* Sykesville town offices will be closed. The town's recycling center will be open.

* Taneytown town offices will be closed.

* Union Bridge town offices will be closed.

* Westminster City Hall and city offices will be closed.
