Argument leads to assault charge, police say

A Pioneer City man was charged with assault Friday after he was accused of using his car to ram the back of his girlfriend's car because a man he did not know was inside.

According to the police report, Dwight Kennedy Harrison, 41, of the 8500 block of Pioneer Drive got into an argument with his girlfriend in front of their home when the girlfriend got into her car to take a friend home.

Police said Mr. Harrison followed her in his car and allegedly drove into the rear of her car, pushing it into the front porch of a home in the 8200 block of Pioneer Circle.

* Odenton: Burglars broke into a 1991 Ford Mustang that was parked in the 7800 block of Statesman St. Thursday and took stereo equipment valued at $580.

* Severn: Burglars broke into a home in the 100 block of Gerald Drive Saturday. Police do not know exactly what was taken.

* Odenton: Someone broke into a home in the first block of Lexington Road Friday night and took $650 in appliances.

* Odenton: Burglars stole appliances valued at $990 from a home in the 1400 block of Annapolis Road Wednesday.

* Seven Oaks: Burglars broke into a home under construction in the 100 block of Bragg Way last Tuesday night and took carpeting.
