* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone broke out a window of a home in the 3100 block of Tyndale Ave. between 3 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Saturday and stole $300 in cash.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone forced open the front door of a home in the 2900 block of Grindon Ave. sometime between 1 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. yesterday. A Nintendo game system worth $125 was reported stolen.

* SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- A man standing on the street in the 2900 block of Reisterstown Road was shot in the foot about 3:30 a.m. yesterday by a passenger in a passing car. Police said the victim was released after hospital treatment.

* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A man reported to police that he was in the 400 block of Yale Ave. about 4:10 a.m. Saturday when he was beaten and robbed of $30 by another man.

* ASSAULT: Southwestern District -- A man was treated at St. Agnes Hospital and released after being stabbed in the head by a juvenile during an argument at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, police said. The suspect was arrested.

* ROBBERY: Central District -- Someone entered a 1989 Hyundai while it was parked in the 400 block of N. Charles St. Thursday and stole a large assortment of eyeglass frames and sunglasses, valued at more than $10,000.

* THEFT: Central District -- Police were seeking a thief who stole $300 Thursday afternoon from a house in the 700 block of W. Lafayette Ave.

* THEFT: Central District -- School supplies valued at more than $200 were stolen Thursday from a car parked in the first block of W. Eager St. by someone who broke one of the vehicle's windows.

* ROBBERY/ARREST: Northern District -- Noel Wordlaw, 34, of the 4800 block of Briarclift Road, was arrested Thursday night and charged with robbing a resident of the 2600 block of N.

Calvert St. of $20 and an ATM card as she exited a car in the 100 block of E. 26th St. at 9:50 p.m. Mr. Wordlaw also was charged with the attempted armed robbery of a resident of the 2800 block of St. Paul St. at 8 p.m. in the first block of E. 28th St. There, a man armed with a handgun tried to rob a woman at gunpoint but fled when she sprayed him with Mace.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Stereo equipment, a toaster oven and a microwave oven, all valued at $400, were stolen from an apartment in the 4700 block of Roland Ave. Thursday.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Property valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from an apartment in the 2600 block of St. Paul St. Thursday by someone forcing the door. One other apartment in the same building was entered but it was not known what property was taken.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men walked up to a woman's car in the 2700 block of Tivoly Ave. at 5:50 a.m. on Saturday, reached into the vehicle and grabbed $40 in cash from her hand.

* ASSAULT: Northern District -- A man was arguing with a woman yesterday morning on the street in the 3000 block of Greenmount Ave. threatened her with a gun. Police said the man hit the woman in the face with the weapon, breaking her nose, before fleeing about 3:15 a.m.

* BREAKING AND ENTERING: Northern District -- Someone broke into a shed behind a home in the 2500 block of Ruscombe Lane between Oct. 1 and yesterday and stole lawn mowers and a leaf mulcher worth $380.

* BREAKING AND ENTERING: Northern District -- Someone broke into a shed in the 1700 block of Mount Washington Court between Jan. 26 and yesterday and stole golf equipment, a television set and a Christmas tree worth $980.

* SHOOTING: Western District -- A 54-year-old cab driver was slightly wounded Saturday night by a passenger armed with a pellet gun during an apparent robbery in the 800 block of W.

North Ave. Police said the driver was shot in the forehead by the weapon during a struggle in the cab, then beaten in the face. The driver refused to go to the hospital. The assailant was being sought.

* THEFT: Western District -- A woman who left her home in the 1800 block of Fairmont Ave. to go to the store Saturday afternoon returned to find $30 missing from her kitchen table. The woman told police that a male friend was in the house when she left about 1:30 p.m.

* THEFT: Western District -- Someone broke into a home in the 1400 block of Mountmor Court between 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday and stole food stamps and an identification card that were left on the living room table.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- The owner of a home in the 1000 block of Stricker St. reported that someone broke in on Saturday and stole a microwave oven and a set of crystal worth $250. Police said there were no signs of forced entry.

* ASSAULT BY SHOOTING: Western District -- A man forced a woman from her car at gunpoint yesterday morning shortly before 3:30 in the 1400 block of W. Fayette St. and fired one round at her. The woman was not hit and the man ran off.
