A Westminster woman was injured in a four-car accident in rush-hour traffic Friday on Route 140 at Sandymount Road, police said.

Sandra K. Reed, 27, of Westminster was treated at Carroll County General Hospital and released after the 5:30 p.m. accident. Information on her injuries was not reported.

Ms. Reed was hurt when her van, headed north on Route 140, was struck from behind by a car driven by Gregory P. Noisette of Westminster, police said.
