ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 4100 block of McDowell Lane in Baltimore County was in the 500 block of N. Warwick Ave. Tuesday night when a man assaulted and robbed him of $200.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Property valued at $400 was stolen from the kitchen and bedroom of a house in the 1700 block of W. Baltimore St. Tuesday by someone who entered after breaking a window.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a truck owned by a resident of the 700 block of Wilson Ave. that was parked in the 2100 block of N. Monroe St. Tuesday and stole an electric saw valued at more than $100.

THEFT: Western District -- After a resident of the 1800 block of Baker St. set her purse down on the pavement at Mondawmin Mall Tuesday afternoon, a man walked by and stole the purse. In the purse was cash and property valued at $131.

SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 4100 block of Fairview Ave. was listed in stable condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being shot in the upper back Tuesday night in the 1900 block of N. Warwick Ave.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a room at Good Samaritan Hospital in the 5600 block of Loch Raven Boulevard between Jan. 31 and Tuesday and stole a ring valued at more than $2,000 from the patient's finger.

PURSE SNATCH: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 5100 block of Sinclair Lane was walking near her home Tuesday afternoon when a man approached her from the rear and stole her purse with cash and property valued at nearly $170.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Personal property valued at more than $2,000 was stolen Monday or Tuesday from the maintenance shop of the Holiday Inn in the 6500 block of Frankford Ave.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 300 block of Millington Ave. was walking near his home Monday afternoon when he was assaulted by two men who robbed him of cash and property, all valued at more than $400.

AUTO THEFT: Southwestern District -- Someone stole a 1985 Toyota from the parking lot of the First United Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic in the 5100 block of Baltimore National Pike Monday afternoon.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A 68-year-old resident of the 2000 block of N. Charles St. was bound with cloth, assaulted and threatened with a hammer by a man who broke into his apartment Wednesday night and robbed him of a 13-inch TV valued at nearly $300. The victim was bitten on the face during a struggle with the intruder but refused medical treatment.

CUTTING: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4000 block of Norfolk Ave. was in the 3200 block of Chelsea Terrace Wednesday night when he was attacked by a man armed with a knife who cut him on the face and head before fleeing. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3400 block of Dennlyn Road Wednesday and stole a ring valued at more than $400.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A cellular phone and cash, all valued at nearly $400, was stolen from a house in the 3900 block of Reisterstown Road Wednesday.

RAPE/ARREST: Western District -- A man was arrested in connection with the rape of a resident of the 2200 block of W. Fayette St. at knifepoint in the 1900 block of Mosher St. Tuesday morning. Charges were pending against the suspect, a man the victim knows.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Copper tubing and kitchen cabinets were stolen from a house in the 1100 block of Mosher St. Tuesday.

AUTO THEFT: Western District -- A 1988 Buick with Maryland tags RWF187 and owned by a resident of the 1900 block of N. Fulton Ave. was stolen Tuesday from the 1800 block of Walbrook Ave.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1700 block of N. Bentalou St. was robbed of a leather coat valued at $600 Wednesday by two men while he walked near his home.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 3500 block of Holmes Ave. of $12 Wednesday afternoon in the 2500 block of Reisterstown Road.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a car parked in the 3400 block of Auchentoroly Terrace Wednesday and stole a compact disc player valued at nearly $600.

THEFT: Western District -- A suspect is being sought in connection with the theft Wednesday of a $700 paint sprayer from the Walbrook lumber company, which is in the 2600 block of W. North Ave.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man armed with a knife robbed a resident of the 2400 block of McCulloh St. of cash and property, all valued at $350, near the victim's home Wednesday afternoon.

THEFT: Western District -- A man entered the Merry Go Round at Mondawmin Mall Wednesday and stole a jeans jacket valued at $70 from a display shelf.

PURSE SNATCH: Western District -- A resident of the 2400 block of Druid Hill Ave. was robbed of her purse Wednesday while walking in the 1200 block of Whitelock St.
