Neall to visit Pasadena today PASADENA

February 04, 1993

County Executive Robert R. Neall is coming to Pasadena today to get a personal view of how well his government is serving its constituents.

Mr. Neall is scheduled to visit several prospective county public works projects, including a proposed golf course on Fort Smallwood Road, a flag monument at the site of the Lake Shore Athletic Complex, and a possible public boat launching facility at Downs Park. He also will inspect the dam reconstruction project at Lake Waterford Park.

Mr. Neall is expected to announce a $25,000 grant from the county to expand a drug prevention program operated by the county police at Freetown Village public housing project into Meade Village and Pioneer City. The program aims at encouraging residents of drug-plagued neighborhoods to trust police officers and turn in drug pushers.

The tour will close with a town meeting, at 7:30 p.m. at Chesapeake High School, 4798 Mountain Road.
