* Elkridge: : 5800 block of Bellanca Drive: Someone stole a $45 blue emergency light from inside a 1990 Ford Taurus between 4:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Friday. The light was stolen from a Howard County Fire and Rescue Services Department employee.

6800 block of Old Waterloo Road: Someone stole a $100 pair of black roller blades with green blades and laces, and 20 cassette tapes valued at $150 from a 1990 Mazda Protege between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

6000 block of Hunt Club Road: Someone stole a $79 Bridgestone steel-belted radial tire and a $100 Toyota rim from a 1986 Toyota Travelmaster camper between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

6300 block of Greenfield Road: Someone stole a $200 Shinton portable mobile telephone between 2 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

7800 block of Whistling Pines Court: A $500 Sony CD, AM-FM cassette player was stolen from a 1981 Fiat between 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday.

7200 block of Montgomery Road: Someone stole a $29 black purse from a shopping cart inside Super Fresh about noon Saturday while the shopper looked at food. The purse contained $7 in cash, a driver's license and numerous bank and credit cards.

100 block of Deep Run Parkway: Someone fired two shots from a BB gun through the front window of a 1988 GMC truck between 6 p.m. Thursday.
