Man charged with drug possession

An Annapolis man was charged with possession of PCP after police allegedly caught him with the drug Sunday behind a Cape St. Claire convenience store.

According to police, officers saw a man standing behind the 7- Eleven store in the 1400 block of Cape St. Claire Road acting suspiciously. Police checked to see if the man was wanted on a warrant and found that he was wanted for failing to appear in court.

When police took him to Eastern District station, they searched him and found PCP flakes in his jacket pocket.

Donald Glen Trott, 25, of the 600 block of Broadneck Road told police the jacket was not his and he did not know the drugs were in the pocket.
