County executive plans daylong tour of Pasadena Feb. 4

County Executive Robert R. Neall will make a daylong tour of Pasadena next week as part of his continuing effort to maintain personal communication with constituents.

Mr. Neall will spend more than 12 hours meeting with different groups and touring county facilities on Feb. 4., as part of his "County Comes to You" series. He will be accompanied by the heads of several county departments in an effort to get a close-up view of local problems and issues.

The tour will include stops at High Point Elementary School, Chesapeake Bay Middle School, Lake Waterford Park, the Lake Shore Athletic Complex, Downs Park and the Riviera Beach Fire Station.

His tour will conclude with a town meeting, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Chesapeake High School auditorium, where residents will have a chance to address Mr. Neall with their questions and concerns.


* Sun Valley: Burglars broke into a 1988 Ford Ranger that was parked in the 7800 block of Cheverly Lane on Monday and took tools valued at $830.

* North Shore: Vandals destroyed five mailboxes in the 300 block of Eagle Hill Road on Saturday.

* Pine Haven: Thieves stole $200 worth of stereo equipment from a 1971 Volkswagen parked in the 100 block of Meadow Road on Saturday.

* Pasadena: A resident of the 1000 block of Duvall Highway told police that someone bent the mailbox in front of her house Monday.
