McDonnell Douglas employees give to homeless
$2,000 donated to church program
Employees at the Engineering Services Division of McDonnell Douglas Corp. in Seabrook donated $2,000 to Churches Concerned for the Homeless (CCH), a nonprofit corporation of 30 Howard County churches, according to Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Highland.
CCH provides transitional housing and counseling to area homeless families.
Representatives of the McDonnell Douglas Employee Community Fund presented the check to Neil Gaffney, CCH president, and Rod Summerford, chairman of the organization's grants committee at a recent ceremony.
