Treasury eases rules for buyers

The U.S. Treasury said yesterday that it would allow investors to purchase bills, notes and bonds in $1,000 increments on top of the minimum amount set for each security. Previously, the additions were sold in $5,000 increments. The new rule takes effect April 5.

USAir Shuttle has children's fare

The USAir Shuttle, operating from Boston to New York LaGuardia and LaGuardia to Washington, has started a $39 off-peak fare for children. Adult fares are $99 weekdays, $69 weekends.
