Odenton eatery robbed; workers put in freezer

A gunman robbed an Odenton fast-food restaurant of an undetermined amount of cash early yesterday, herding employees into a walk-in freezer as he made his escape, county police reported.

Investigators said that a man jumped an employee outside the McDonald's restaurant in the 1500 block of Annapolis Road about 1:30 a.m., ordered the employee back inside and told him to put money in a bag.

The employee obeyed, and the robber ordered him and other employees into a freezer and fled.
