Philadelphia dentist buys local practice

Dr. Andrew Ingel recently bought the Annapolis dental practice of Bryan Beebe D.D.S., and began his own dental practice.

A Philadelphia dentist, Dr. Ingel was born in Washington, D.C. He went to Villanova University and earned a master's degree in biochemistry from Bryn Mawr College.

He graduated in the top two percent of his class at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and completed a residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Ingel lives in Annapolis with his wife, Anna.

Baltimore/Washington chamber picks officers

The Baltimore/Washington Corridor Chamber recently announced its new officers and board members for 1993.

Deborah Whipple, President of Fleck Funeral Home, Inc. is the new board chairman; Timothy Abell, President & CEO of Security Vault Works, Inc. is chairman-elect; Mishelle Moro, the Lockley Group, and Raymond Lucas, branch manager for IBM Corp. are vice-chairs; Jill Mooty, C.P.A., a partner in Pear, Fagan & Bormel, P.A., is treasurer; Richard Haddad of Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission is immediate-past chairman.

Newly elected board members were Jeff Truesdale, Vice President of Jireh Press, Inc., and Douglas Veum, Senior Vice President of Duron Paints & Wallcoverings.

The chamber is a regional chamber of commerce with more than 500 members in Anne Arundel, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George's counties.

Gross-Wade receives finance title

Shelly Gross-Wade, business analyst and portfolio manager for the Anne Arundel County Office of Economic Development, has been certified as an Economic Development Finance Professional from the National Development Council.

Ms. Gross-Wade completed four courses on economic development finance, which covered credit analysis, real estate financing, loan packaging and more.

An 18-year county employee, Ms. Gross-Wade has been with the Office of Economic Development for six years.
