Bond Redemptions

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Municipal bond issuers announced yesterday the early redemption of eight issues totaling more than $16.69 million.

The issues being called are:

* Hawthorne Community Redevelopment Agency, Calif., Series 1976 A, tax allocation bonds maturing Sept. 1, 1993, through Sept. 1, 2001. All outstanding bonds called at par on March 1, 1993.

* Bridgeport, Conn., Series 1989 B, general obligation bonds maturing March 1, 2005. $10.35 million called at par on March 1, 1993.

* Jackson County School District No. 40 (Applegate), Ore., Series 1980, general obligation bonds maturing Aug. 1, 1993, through Aug. 1, 2000. All outstanding bonds called at par on Feb. 1, 1993.

* Oregon State, Series 1979, general obligation bonds maturing Aug. 1, 1994, Feb. 1, 1995, Aug. 1, 1995, and Feb. 1, 1996. All of the above outstanding bonds called at par on Feb. 1, 1993.

* Port Coos Bay, Ore., Series 1980, port revenue bonds maturing Aug. 1, 1993, through Aug. 1, 2000. All outstanding bonds called at 102 on Feb. 1, 1993.

* Corry Area School District, Pa., Series 1987, general obligation bonds maturing June 1, 1993, through June 1, 1997. $1.88 million called at par on Feb. 15, 1993.

* Tarrant County Municipal Utility District No. 1, Texas, Series 1975, water and sewer system revenue bonds maturing March 1, 1994, through March 1, 1999. $1.54 million called at par on March 1, 1993.

* Yakima, Wash., Series 1983, water and sewer revenue bonds maturing March 1, 1994, through March 1, 2003. $2.92 million called at 102 on March 1, 1993.
