Boyd carries Towson, 86-76

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Devin Boyd scored a game-high 23 points to lead Towson State (7-6, 4-0) to its fourth straight Big South Conference victory, as the Tigers defeated Charleston Southern, 87-76.

Senior Darnell Sneed (Douglass) led Charleston Southern with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

The Tigers fell behind 6-0 at the start, but then went on a 17-4 run to take a 19-10 lead with 15:26 left in the first half.

All five Towson starters scored in double figures, as the Tigers shot 54 percent from the field for the game.
