Dayton artist Hartman has works on display

Artistic works by Carolyn Hartman of Dayton are on display at galleries in Howard County and beyond.

"Her Highness, The Masked Cat" and "Summer Morning Glories," both watercolors, are part of the "Masquerade and Other Masterpieces" show that runs through Feb. 5 at the Columbia Arts Center in the Long Reach Village Center.

A watercolor portrait, "Deborah," is on display at the Hoffberger Gallery, 7401 Park Heights Ave. in Baltimore, as part of the Baltimore Watercolor Society show through Jan. 31.

Two of the artist's entries have been accepted into a national multimedia exhibit, "Invest in American Art," which will be shown through Jan. 28 at the Venable Neslage Galleries in Washington and might tour American Artists Registry galleries in Philadelphia and New Jersey.

Ms. Hartman teaches watercolor class for Slayton House in Wilde Lake.
