Burglary suspect turns himself in

A 23-year-old Baltimore man wanted in connection with two burglaries in Ellicott City turned himself in to police Thursday night, almost a week after county police issued a warrant for his arrest, Howard County police said.

Steven Paul Anthony McCain, of the 2600 block of Quantico Ave., was charged with two counts of burglary, one count of theft and malicious destruction of property.

He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond at the Howard County Detention Center, a correctional officer said.

Fingerprints link Mr. McCain to two burglaries that occurred in homes in Ellicott City, police said.
