BALTIMORE CITY

*ASSAULT: Western District -- A 15-year-old girl was hit in the face by a stray bullet from a BB gun about 9:20 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of .Nome Ave. She was treated for a wound in her cheek, police said.

*ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A man was held up about 9 p.m. Friday in the 2200 block of E. Baltimore St. by two men who held their hands in their pants pockets as if they were carrying guns. The victim handed over $100.

*SHOPLIFTING: Eastern District -- A man stole a box of cigars at about 4:45 a.m. Saturday from a 7-Eleven store in the 1900 block of Edison Highway, police said.

*BURGLARY: Eastern District -- A burglary at a home in the 2700 block of E. Chase St. was discovered about 3 a.m. Saturday. A television and videocassette recorder worth $460 were reported stolen.

*ASSAULT: Eastern District -- A 28-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint while walking in the 1100 block of Broadway about 5:40 Saturday. The victim said a man came up to him, displayed a gun and demanded money. The robber escaped with $125.

*AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Eastern District -- A 37-year-old man was stabbed in the chest several times shortly after 3 a.m. at his home in the 2300 block of E. Madison St. He was released after hospital treatment. Police arrested a juvenile who was living in the home.

*ARMED ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A 52-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint about 12:15 a.m. Saturday in front of a bar in the 2400 block of E. Madison St. The victim had just come out of the bar when a man walked up, pointed a gun at him and demanded money, police said.

*ATTEMPTED RAPE: Eastern District -- A 23-year-old woman told police that an acquaintance tried to rape her shortly after 5 a.m. Saturday after driving her to the 1000 block of N. Wolfe Street. She told police she struggled and escaped.

*BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Two youths were arrested Saturday afternoon shortly after a break-in at a deli in the 2500 block of E. Preston St. Police said the juveniles apparently slipped in through an unlocked back door. Nothing was taken.

*ASSAULT: Western District -- A woman stabbed a man in the arm with a fork during a domestic dispute about 4 a.m. yesterday in the 1900 block of Herbert St. Police charged the woman with assault.

*STABBING: Western District -- A woman stabbed a man in the chest during an argument about 2:45 a.m. yesterday in the 900 block of Payson St.

*STABBING: Western District -- A man was attacked by two other men as he walked in the 500 block of N. Mount St. at 7:40 p.m. Saturday. Police said the victim was stabbed and beaten with a stick.

*SHOOTING: Western District -- A man was shot in the arm as he walked in the 1000 block of N. Payson St. about 8:45 p.m. Saturday.

*STOLEN AUTO: Western District -- A 1987 Chevrolet was stolen from the 1400 block of N. Fulton Ave. yesterday. The car had Maryland license TFG 313.

*STOLEN AUTO: Western District -- A 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen from the 600 block of Glenolden Ave. sometime overnight Saturday. The car had Maryland tags PSM 830.

*ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Northern District -- A man tried to snatch a woman's purse as she walked in the 300 block of St. Paul St. Saturday about 8:30 p.m. The woman would not let go, and the robber fled.

*ASSAULT: Northern District -- A man fired a shot into the ceiling of a bar in the 2500 block of N. Howard St. shortly after 2 a.m. yesterday after the barmaid refused to give him a drink. The gun reportedly misfired when he aimed it at the barmaid, police said.

*BURGLARY: Southern District -- Games, a television and other property were reported taken from the display window of a second-hand shop in the 400 block of E. Patapsco Ave. yesterday morning.

*BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone broke into a home in the 1600 block of S. Hanover St. sometime over the weekend and took $415 in property.

*BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone broke into a home in the 1600 block of Jackson St. over the weekend and took $897 in property.

*STOLEN AUTO: AUTO: Southern District -- Someone stole a 1987 Pontiac in the 1100 block of S. Howard St. sometime between Saturday night and yesterday.

*ARMED ROBBERY: Southern District -- A Vizzini's Pizza delivery man was robbed of $60 at midnight Saturday as he made a delivery in the 2600 block of Huron St.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

*DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Catonsville District -- Someone broke the windows and flattened a tire on a 1984 Chevy Chevette in the 1900 block of Victory Drive, causing about $1,000 in damage.

*VANDALISM: Catonsville District -- Someone spray-painted obscenities on a brick wall of the Christian Temple church at 5820 Edmondson Ave., causing about $300 in damage.

*VANDALISM: Catonsville District -- Someone stomped across the length of a 1990 Ford Taurus in the 3000 block of Bero Road, leaving footprints and causing about $1,400 in damage.
