Coaches set baseball clinic

The third annual Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches clinic is scheduled today and tomorrow at the BWI Marriott Hotel.

Lecturers will be Atholton High athletic director Don Van Deusen, Dundalk Community College coach Elliott Oppenheim, Georgetown assistant coach Duane Rhine, UMBC coach John Jancuska and Louisiana State coach Skip Bertman.

Those honored will be a Coach of the Year from each of Maryland's nine public school districts and six Hall of Fame inductees. Also recognized will be an Amateur Junior Baseball Player of the Year, an Amateur Baseball Woman of the Year, a Volunteer Amateur Baseball Coach of the Year and an Umpire of the Year.
