POLICE

* Westminster: A video camera valued at $900 was stolen from the Ritz Camera Center at Cranberry Mall on Center Street Tuesday, an official of the company told police.

A woman of Union Bridge reported that while her car was parked at the Englar Business Center, someone scratched the vehicle. Damage is estimated at $200.

An East Main Street man told police that while his car was parked near his home, someone removed several articles from it. The loss is about $6.50.

FIRE

* Westminster: Firefighters from the Westminster and Reese stations were dispatched to a building on North Cranberry Road at 10:39 p.m. on Wednesday for a fire alarm.

Westminster and Hampstead responded to a mock-out detail on Old Westminster Road at 7:23 a.m. Thursday. Units were out for 15 minutes.
