North Laurel: 9100 block of Stebbing Way: Someone smashed a hole in the driver's side window of a 1990 Dodge Spirit between 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 a.m. Friday and stole a $500 Kenwood CD changer, a $392 Kenwood amplifier, a $100 fTC speaker, a $170 woofer and a $100 Bell Atlantic power connector.

9600 block of Maryland Avenue: Someone stole $300 worth of various tools in a gray box from a truck sometime between Dec. 15 and noon Jan. 3.

10500 block of Saddle Brook Court: Someone damaged the steering column to a 1993 Chevrolet Blazer S-10 between 10 p.m. Jan. 4 and 9:30 a.m. Jan. 5.

9100 block of Bourbon Street: Someone stole a rear plate (XTG-054) from a 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo between 6 p.m. Jan. 2 and 1 p.m. Saturday.

9200 block of North Laurel Road: Someone stole a $60 hand-held microphone with a 20-foot cord from the auditorium at Laurel Woods Elementary School Dec. 12 or Dec. 13.

* Savage:: 8900 Dorsey Run Road: Someone stole a $139 JVC AM-FM cassette player from a 1989 Honda Civic between 6 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Friday.
