1992 home sales up 11%

Home sales in Harford County increased by 11 percent in 1992 over 1991, according to figures released Friday by the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors.

Settled units in the county totaled 2,085 in 1992, as compared with 1,865 in 1991.

Dollar volume closed with a 13 percent increase of $263,976,049 in1992 over $232,886,144 in 1991.

Settled dollar volume showed a 19 percent increase, with $23,276,467 settled in 1992 and $19,460,966 in 1991.

Sales in the Baltimore-metropolitan area for 1992 amounted to 17,790 settled units, an increase of 9 percent over 1991, and the settled dollar volume of $2,261,394,330 ended 1992 11 percent ahead of the 1991 total.
