NHL -- Fined the St. Louis Blues $21,738 and fined Blues F Brendan Shanahan $500 and suspended him without pay for six non-game days for hitting Mike Craig of the Minnesota North Stars in the face with his stick during a game Dec. 22.
Boston Bruins -- Waived G Reggie Lemelin. Called up G John Blue and G Mike Bales from Providence (AHL).
