* Westminster: The coat, scarf and gloves of a patron at the Comfort Inn were taken from a coat room on Monday. The victim, Marie Barbe of London Court, told police the items were valued at $414.

Janis Kern of East Green Street told police someone caused about $50 damage to the door of her house with a BB gun on Monday.

Property worth $115 was removed from the automobile of Wendy Wacker of Claymont, Del., while the car was parked at the 140 Village Shopping Center on Sunday.

The automobile of Dorothy Roderick of East George Street was damaged while it was parked in the rear of her house on New Year's Day. No estimate of the damage was reported to city police.

Someone damaged the car of Colleen Renehan of Cornstalk Drive in Finksburg while it was parked on East Green Street on Dec. 31. The damage included painting the rear fender and license tag. It was estimated at $50.

A burglar stole merchandise valued over $374 from Merle Norman Cosmetics on East Main Street. The Dec. 31 theft was reported to city police by Deborah Carns, a company official.

A car belonging to John E. Hyde, of Hanover, Pa., was damaged when someone used a heavy metal object to scratch the windshield while it was parked at Cranberry Mall on Dec. 31. The damage was estimated at $200.

Sean E. Wingfield, of East Main Street, told police someone removed about $130 from his residence on Dec. 31.

Property worth more than $750 was stolen from the home of David Fowble, of South Center Street, on Dec. 30.


* Westminster: Fire units from Westminster were dispatched to the scene of an accident on Old Baltimore Boulevard when a pick-up truck struck and broke a utility pole and overturned about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
