Police study break-in at bowling alley

Police are investigating the theft of two televisions, a videocassette recorder and money taken after a break-in at a Fairlanes bowling alley and restaurant in Edgewood.

The thefts occurred in the early morning Dec. 19, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said.

Damage to the telephone lines, a snack machine and video games also was reported.

The loss is estimated at $2,300.

ABINGDON

Estimated loss: $2,700.

* 3400 block of Emmorton Road: An attempted breaking and entering into Friendship Wine & Liquor reported Dec. 21. Roof damaged. Estimated damage: $300.

* 400 block of Hanna Way: Vandals damaged holiday lights at a home Dec. 20. Estimated loss: $13.

* 700 block of Mustang Court: Theft of holiday decorations from property Dec. 19. Estimated loss: $300.

* 1300 block of Southwell Lane: Malicious destruction to windows of two parked cars Dec. 20. Estimated dam

age: $860.

DARLINGTON

* 400 block of Conowingo Road: Breaking and entering of a storage shed reported Dec. 18. The shed door was damaged, and Christmas ornaments and a wooden train were stolen and later recovered. Estimated loss: $325.

EDGEWOOD

* 4400 block of Old Philadelphia Road: * Breaking and entering at a business reported Dec. 21. A door was damaged and money stolen. Estimated loss: $5,005.
