Trudell appointed to advisory council

County Executive Robert R. Neall has appointed John N. Trudell to the Anne Arundel County Advisory Council on Aging for a three-year term.

The council serves as an advocate for county seniors, evaluating programs for the Department of Aging and providing advice on the development and implementation on the aging plan.

Mr. Trudell, of Odenton, earned a bachelor's degree in history and business administration from the University of Maryland in 1961, and a master's degree in personnel administration from George Washington University in 1968.

He joined the National Security Agency in 1961 and retired in 1974. Mr. Trudell is a member of the Anne Arundel County Attorney Grievance Committee and the Maryland Historical Society, and president of the Marley Senior Center Geological Group.
