Patuxent Theatre Co. play opens tomorrow

The Patuxent Theatre Company will present "The Man Who Came to Dinner," directed by Tony Reich, at 8 p.m. tomorrow, Sunday, and on Jan. 8, 9, 15 and 16; and at 2 p.m. Monday, and on Jan. 10 and 17 at the Center 32 Building at 10620 Guilford Road in Jessup.

Gary Goodson stars as Whiteside.

General admission is $8; tickets are $6 for students and seniors.

POLICE LOG

* Jessup: 9900 block of Guilford Road: Someone broke into a 1991 Dodge van between 9 p.m. Dec. 22 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 23, and stole a $450 rotary hammer drill, a $300 cordless drill, a $250 hole saw kit and a $250 hole-punch kit.

* Laurel: 9860 U.S. 1: Someone forced open the rear window of a room at Pin-Del Motel between 12:05 a.m. and 12:09 a.m. Friday. Nothing was taken.

* North Laurel: 9500 block of Glen Ridge Drive: A $400 Sony radio and tape player was stolen from a 1992 Jeep Wrangler between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. Dec. 24.

9100 block of Hitching Post Lane:A stereo and VCR were taken between 2 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. Saturday from a residence that showed no signs of forced entry.

* Savage: 9100 block of Gorman Road: Someone broke a glass pane in a door of a residence, pried the door, removed a storm window and shattered an interior window between 1 p.m. Dec. 23 and 10:30 a.m. Dec. 24. Nothing was taken.
