2 Key men join Army Delayed Entry Program

Michael L. Glass Jr. of Taneytown and Christopher A. Keseling of New Windsor recently enlisted in the U.S. Army's Delayed Entry Program.

Mr. Glass, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Glass, will report for active duty July 1. The Francis Scott Key High School senior will take basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C., and advanced individual training at Fort Lee, Va.

He has chosen the job of a unit supply specialist as his military occupational specialty. He has volunteered for a four-year tour of duty.

Mr. Keseling is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Keseling. The FSK graduate will report for duty Jan. 13. He will take basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and advanced individual training at the Defense Language School in Monterey, Calif.

He has chosen the job of a linguist as his military occupational specialty and has volunteered for a four-year tour of duty.

Each man is eligible to receive the Army College Fund, a total of $25,200 for higher education upon completion of his enlistment.
