School: Meade Senior High

Activities:Todd, a junior with an 'A' average, belongs to his school's National Honor Society and is a 'helper' in the Natural Helper Program, a county-sponsored pilot program in which students assist their peers in working out school or personal difficulties.

To train for the Natural Helper Program, Todd attended a three-day retreat in August with other students.

Outside of school Todd participates in a variety of church activities as a member of the Brooklyn Bible Chapel.

He is a member of the church's puppet team. As a puppeteer, he helps write skits and put on shows. He also is active in his church's choir and youth group.

A Boy Scout for five years in Troop 446, Todd has grown to enjoy camping and hiking and has held such positions as quartermaster, librarian and assistant leader.

In addition, he is working hard to become an Eagle Scout by October 1993.

Upon graduation in 1994 he wants to attend the Wood of Life Bible Institute in New York for a year and then return to Maryland to go to college and major in education.

His career goal is to become a guidance counselor.

Student's comment: "Luke 2:52 says 'increase in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man'; it is necessary to live a pleasing life for God, and he will bless you accordingly. He will then in turn let you gain the respect of your fellow man."
