BALTIMORE CITY

* THEFT: Southern District -- Someone entered a car owned by a resident of the 4200 block of Third St. in Brooklyn while it was parked in the 3800 block of S. Hanover St. Wednesday night and stole a purse containing cash and property, all valued at $20.

* BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Christmas gifts valued at more than $200 were stolen from a house in the 2300 block of Ashland Ave. Tuesday night by someone who entered through the front door.

* ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A resident of the 1300 block of Gittings Ave. was robbed of cash and property, all valued at $679, last Monday night by two men, one with a handgun, in the 2100 block of E. Pratt St.

* ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 1700 block of Lamont Ave. of $240 in the 1700 block of N. Broadway Tuesday night.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2500 block of Lauretta Ave. was robbed of property valued at more than $400 Wednesday night by a gunman in the 2500 block of Edmondson Ave.

* THEFT: Western District -- Police were seeking a 36-year-old resident of the 2600 block of W. Fayette St. in connection with the theft of a typewriter, two coats and an 8-inch TV from a house in the 2300 block of N. Monroe St. on Dec. 20.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- A 16-inch TV valued at $300 was stolen Wednesday morning from a house in the 2400 block of Eutaw Place by someone who entered through a kitchen window.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- Three men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 1100 block of Mosher St. of $27 and $150 in toys Wednesday in the 1800 block of Clifton Ave.

* ROBBERY/ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 700 block of N. Carey St. was robbed of $25 and his MVA card Tuesday afternoon by three gunmen in his home. During the robbery, the man was sexually assaulted by all three gunmen.

* BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- Barry Wiggins, 34, of the 800 block of George St., was arrested Wednesday and charged with entering a house in the 600 block of N. Fremont Ave. through a rear door and stealing a computer game and two gold rings, all were valued at $440.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone forced open the front door of a home in the 600 block of N. Bentalou St. between 7:15 p.m. Thursday and 3:15 a.m. Friday, and removed $8.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- Police arrested a man Friday in connection with a break-in at Logan & Son Palace in the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Ave. The break-in occurred at 11 a.m. on Friday when the burglar tripped the building's security alarm. Tyrone Day, 37, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, police said.

* ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A couple robbed a resident of the 2200 block of E. North Ave. of $400 near his home Wednesday afternoon after striking him with a hammer.

* BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1200 block of N. Broadway Wednesday morning through a basement rear door and stole two VCRs. valued at $500.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* BURGLARY: Essex District -- Someone broke into a home in the 3400 block of Honeysuckle Lane t 1:50 a.m. Christmas Day. Police do not know exactly what was taken.

* BURGLARY: Essex District -- Burglars broke into a home in the first block of Minkler Court at 1:15 p.m. Saturday. Police could not say exactly what was taken.

* BURGLARY: Essex District -- Someone broke into a home in the first block of Ambo Circle at 11:15 p.m Thursday. Police could not say exactly what was taken.

* BURGLARY: Essex District -- Burglars forced into a home in the first block of Sun Court at 11:44 p.m. Thursday. Police do not know what was taken. * STOLEN CAR: Parkville District -- A silver 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen from the lot of an apartment complex in the 2900 block of Kings Ridge Road between Dec. 25 and Dec. 27.

* STOLEN CAR: Parkville District -- A 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was stolen from the 9000 block of Walthem Woods Road between 5:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. yesterday.
