Housing Resource Center

CHAI, the housing and neighborhood development agency of the Associated Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, has opened a Community Housing Resource Center that offers free advice to homebuyers and homeowners in Baltimore. The center specializes in the Park Heights area.

The resource center, located at 5721 Park Heights Ave., is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays and 10 a.m. to noon the second Sunday of each month.

On Jan. 24, the resource center will hold a home-buying seminar with Russian translation for Russian immigrants. The event is designed to help potential buyers learn about the steps involved in buying a home and qualifying for a mortgage.
