6 area managers do mini MBA course

Six area managers have completed a Mini MBA Course offered by Dodie & Company, an Annapolis-based small business management consulting firm.

Don Dwyer of American Screen Technology, Sally Franceschina of Organization Plus, Jill Glassman of Turner Pension Consultants, Stuart Hall and James Maitland of LME Inc., and Tangela Terry of J & K Distributors each received a Certificate of Completion for the nine-week course.

The managers studied economics, accounting and finance, planning and other management tools.

Hendricks joins Manis & Wright

Terry Hendricks has recently joined Manis & Wright Realty, an Annapolis full-service real estate company.

A 30-year resident of Annapolis, Ms. Hendricks is a multimillion-dollar agent and has been a licensed Realtor for 7 years.

She is also a lifetime member of the Distinguished Sales Achievement Club, and a member of the Anne Arundel County Board of Realtors.

Korzec becomes part of counseling staff

The North Arundel Hospital Professional Center has named Brian I. Korzec as an Employee Assistance Program Counselor.

With experience in business, education and development services, Mr. Korzec recently received his Master's degree in Applied Behavioral Science from the Johns Hopkins University.

He will be responsible for personal and professional counseling, assessments, referrals, training and consultation for clients who are having problems that may affect their job performance.

North Arundel Hospital adds nurse manager

North Arundel Hospital has named Robin H. Garvin as nurse manager of its Coronary Care -- Step Down Unit or Phase II of the Coronary Recovery Process.

Ms. Garvin will be responsible for scheduling and staffing nursing per

sonnel for the unit and addressing family concerns.

Previously, Ms. Garvin worked at Dorchester General Hospital's Telemetry Unit and Bon Secours Hospital's Coronary Care and Telemetry Unit.

Lancaster marks 500 in transactions

Don Lancaster, affiliated with Champion Realty in Severna Park, has completed his 500th real estate settlement.

Mr. Lancaster, 26, has over $66 million in real estate transactions, and has been inducted into the Re/Max Hall of Fame and Champion Hall of Fame.
