More than 600 bicycles donated to Bikes for Kids

More than 600 bicycles have been donated to Bikes for Kids, a project organized by Bryan Chaney, owner of The BikeMOBILE.

The used bikes are being repaired by BikeMOBILE mechanics and will be distributed this week to needy families through the Salvation Army and Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center.

Surplus bikes will be give to the Baltimore city and county Salvation Army and St. Jerome's Catholic Church.

Space was provided by the Columbia Management for drop-off and pickup points, and repair work in the Harper's Choice village center and Hickory Ridge village center.
