Melby carries Arundel to 60-38 win over Northeast Girls basketball

Sarah Melby scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds to lead Arundel (2-2, 1-2) to a 60-38 victory over host Northeast (3-1, 2-1) in an Anne Arundel County Bay Division game.

* Randallstown 64, Catonsville 52: Randallstown (5-0, 5-0) held off a late challenge by visiting Catonsville (2-2, 2-2). Ram junior forward Nyota Mitchell scored 19 and had 16 rebounds.

* Lake Clifton 79, Dunbar 27: Tammy Lea had 18 points and 14 rebounds to help the No. 10 Lakers (3-2, 3-0) beat the Poets in a City-Wide 4A League game.

* Patapsco 43, Sparrows Point 16: Carrie Falkenhan scored eight, but her Pointers (0-2, 0-2) fell to visiting Patapsco in a Baltimore County 2A-1A contest.

* Milford Mill 55, Chesapeake-BC 23: Senior Yolanda Matthews scored 22 to lead host Milford Mill (1-1, 1-1) over the Bayhawks.

* Woodlawn 54, Franklin 34: Junior forward Avarina Schools had 14 points, four rebounds and four assists as host Woodlawn (3-1, 3-1) beat Franklin (3-1, 3-1).

* Western 99, Poly 13: Chanel Wright scored 23 and Kim Smith added 22 to lead visiting and No. 1 Western (4-0) past Poly (2-4) in a City-Wide 4A matchup.

* Dundalk 50, EVT 28: Katie Marsheck and Holly Collins each scored 14 to lead the visiting Owls (2-3) over the Mavericks (0-4) in a Baltimore County 4A-3A matchup.

* City 38, Edmondson 23: Kelly Franklin scored 18 points and had 20 rebounds, helping City (3-1, 3-1) defeat visiting Edmondson (0-3, 0-2) in a City-Wide League 4A game.

* Northwestern 69, Douglass 16: Tiffany Watson scored 26 to lead host Northwestern (2-0, 1-0) over Douglass (1-2, 0-2) in a City-Wide League 3A-2A-1A game.

* Pikesville 74, Overlea 23: Alison Davis scored 22 and Colby Feldman added 19 points and 13 rebounds to lead Pikesville (2-1, 2-0) over host Overlea (0-2, 0-2) in a Baltimore County 2A-1A game.

* Owings Mills 46, Hereford 38: Allison Klein scored 18 to lead host Owings Mills (1-3, 1-2) over Hereford (1-2, 1-1) in a Baltimore County 2A-1A game.

* Parkville 53, Perry Hall 25:Sallie Neal scored 20 points to lead Parkville (2-3, 2-3) over visiting Perry Hall (1-3, 1-3) in a Baltimore County 4A-3A game.

* Patterson 54, Mervo 29: Jackie Wilkes recorded a career-high 32 points and grabbed 15 rebounds and teammate Nicole Jones added 10 points to lead Patterson (3-3) over Mervo in a City-Wide 4A matchup.

* Broadneck 38, North County 36: Julie Barr had 12 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Bruins (3-0, 3-0) past the Knights (3-2, 2-2) in the Anne Arundel County Bay Division.

* Glen Burnie 47, Queen Anne's 27: Melissa Schaffer scored 15 and grabbed 20 rebounds to lead Glen Burnie (2-1) over Queen Anne's.

* Forest Park 72, Carver 43: Sherri Anderson had 30 points and 20 assists, leading the Foresters (2-0, 2-0) past the Bears in a City-Wide 3A-2A-1A Division game.

* Harford Christian 90, Elkton Christian 15: Jen Kreisel scored 23 to lead Harford Christian (8-0) over Elkton Christian in a Maryland Association of Chrsitian Schools game.
