When Printice McNair transferred to No. 14 Catonsville (4-1, 4-1) from Lake Clifton after last season, most people thought he would make an immediate impact. The question was how much and how soon.

McNair, along with James Lewis, a holdover from last year's state Class 3A champions, answered that question last night. The pair accounted for 41 of the Comets' 82 points in an 82-55 victory over visiting Randallstown (2-3, 2-3) in a Baltimore County 4A-3A game.

Bill Garrett led the Rams with 17 points.

The win allows the Comets to remain tied with Perry Hall for second, a half-game behind league leader Woodlawn, a 65-31 winner at Franklin last night.

"When I came here, I really didn't know what to expect," said McNair. "I had to adjust to a new team and a new coach, but now I'm starting feel comfortable."
