In this small, busy carryout, sandwiched between a barber shop and a pet shop in Ridgely Plaza, brothers John and George Rigopoulos offer some tasty Greek, Italian and American dishes.
Primarily a carryout, it has about 10 small tables for two which are slightly secluded from the busy carryout counter.
Pizza is a specialty, and you'll find almost any topping you enjoy. The cost ranges from $5.20 for a 10-inch tomato and cheese to $11.60 for a 16-inch Olympia special with everything on it.
Spinach pie, thick with spinach and covered with a light, flaky crust, is $3.75. A gyro sandwich on pita bread, filled with lamb and a wonderful sauce of tomatoes, cucumbers and sour cream, is $3.75. Baklava is $1.50 a slice, and a sweet and simple rice pudding is $1.25
Spaghetti comes with a choice of several sauces ranging in price from $4.25 to $6. There are veal Parmesan and lasagna and ravioli, all served with garlic bread and grated cheese.
Subs, half or whole, include a skinned chicken breast for $3 (for half sub). A whole shrimp sub is $10.
The salads, Greek, tossed or chef, are fresh and crisp and start at $3.10.
