Columbia Council to discuss legislation on housing

The Columbia Council has decided to add several items to its agenda for its quarterly board of directors meeting tonight.

The council will discuss whether to add a nonvoting member lTC from the Village of River Hill. There also will be a presentation by county officials on how proposed legislation regarding moderately priced housing would effect Columbia and a report on a proposed Sister City Advisory Committee.

Those items were tabled at the council's Dec. 10 meeting because of inclement weather and to allow enough time to debate a proposal to build an 18-hole golf course.

The meeting will begin at 8 p.m. in the council's meeting room on the first floor of 10221 Wincopin Circle in Columbia.
