PRINCETON, N.J. -- Municipal bond issuers announce yesterday the early redemption of 8 issues totaling more than $61.675 million.

The issues being called are:

* Scottsdale, Ariz., Project of 1983, Series A (1984), general obligation bonds maturing July 1, 1993, through July 1, 1995. $6.0 million called at 100 1/2 on Jan. 1, 1993.

* Tempe, Ariz., Series 1987, general obligation bonds maturing July 1, 1995, through July 1, 1999. $22.1 million called at 103 on Jan. 1, 1993.

* Orange County Calif., Issue II of 1983, single-family mortgage revenue bonds maturing Jan. 1, and July 1, from July 1, 1993, through July 1, 1997, July 1, 2001, and July 1, 2009. Partial call of $5.255 million at par on Jan. 1, 1993.

* Illinois Housing Development Authority, Multi-family Housing Revenue Bonds Series 1978 B, maturing July 1, 2019, and Series 1979 B maturing July 1, 2023. Partial call of $25.9 million at 100 on Jan. 1, 1993.

* Multnomah, Clackamas and Hood River Counties, Ore., Series 1969, Eastside Area Education District Bonds (Mount Hood Community College) maturing Jan. 1, 1994, through Jan. 1, 1999. $1.92 million called at par on Jan. 1, 1993.

* Lehigh County Industrial Development Authority, Pennsylvania Power and Light Company, Pollution Control Revenue Bonds, Series 1980 B, maturing April 1, 2000, and April 1, 2010. All outstanding bonds called at 102 on Jan. 1, 1993.

* Lehigh County Industrial Development Authority, Pennsylvania Power and Light Company, Pollution Control Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 1982 A, maturing Nov. 1, 2002, and Nov. 1, 2012. All outstanding bonds called at 103 on Jan. 1, 1993.
