Shots fired at youth from passing car

A Columbia youth was shot at Saturday night by someone in a passing car with whom he had earlier argued, Howard County police said. They did not reveal the victim's identity.

Police said the incident took place in the Waverly Winds Apartments in the 5500 block of Cedar Lane at 10:35 p.m.

One bullet hit a parked car, and another hit a house, but no one was hit by the shots, police said.
