Robert Lidke named worker of the month

Cable 15 producer and manager Robert Lidke has been named Harford County Government Employee of the Month for December.

He will receive a plaque, a county government pin and a proclamation.

Nominated by Stephen Naughton, Mr. Lidke was recognized for his work with community groups and his efforts to curtail government spending.

ZTC He helped several county agencies, community groups and the Harford County Board of Education by producing videos and cable broadcasts.

He also promotes job openings, meetings and events on Cable 15's video bulletin segments.

Mr. Lidke gives tours of the Harford Community College-based television station to scout troops, church groups and students, along with presentations on mass communication to classes and other community groups.

Anti-drug contest winners announced

Winners were recently announced for the 1992 Harford County Red Ribbon Poster Contest. Sponsored by the Harford County Drug/Alcohol Impact Program, the YMCA School-Age Children and the Harford County Joint Narcotics Task Force, the competition is part of a national campaign toward creating a drug-free America.

First-place winners included Anastasia Bower, first grade; Graham Snodgras, second grade; Jessica Webster, third grade; Phedra Nicolarakis, fourth grade; and Lauren Downs, fifth grade.

Second-place honors went to Ian Frank, first grade; Stephanie Hoffman, second grade; Anjelica Nehez, third grade; Danny Worrick, fourth grade; and Bethany Frish, fifth grade.

CPA firm appoints real estate manager

Renee R. Husselbaugh, an accountant from Abingdon, has been promoted to manager of the real estate-construction division of Walpert, Smullian and Blumenthal, a regional certified public accounting and management firm.

Mrs. Husselbaugh specializes in providing audit, tax and consulting services to real estate developers and construction companies.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Home Builders Association of Maryland Ambassadors Committee.
