Blue Cross Rip-off

My Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Maryland group rates just arrived with the morning mail, detailing the facets of the 1993 coverage. The increased monthly rates total $110 over the new year.

This leaves me to ponder how much of the increase is due to the cost of uncontrolled public relations like the Oriole skybox, a feature I will surely never see.

Perhaps some of this money will assist in the obscene parachute salaries or retirements of the Blue Cross executives?

Bentley's Thanks

I would like to express my appreciation to the voters of the 2nd Congressional District for the tremendous vote of confidence they gave me by asking me to continue serving as your representative in the Congress.

Working together, we have tried to solve some of the problems facing our community. During the next two years we will complete many of these on-going projects, as well as take on a number of new ones. I am looking forward to remaining an active part of this community.

Thanks also for taking the time to join so many of your friends and neighbors in coming to the polls on Nov. 3. The record turnout is the clearest signal that you are watching very closely the manner in which your elected representatives serve the interests of the community. I intend to live up to the high standard which you have set.

As always, feel free to get in touch with me if ever I can be of any assistance to you or your family.

Helen Delich Bentley
