Psychotherapist talks on care of soul

Standing on a foundation of history, literature and religion, psychotherapist Thomas Moore celebrates the ordinary in life. In his book, "Care for the Soul: A Guide for Cultivating Depth and Sacredness in Everyday Life," Mr. Moore advocates simple pleasures and spiritual well-being, not self-improvement programs.

At a program sponsored by the Institute for the Study of Imagination, Mr. Moore will lecture at 8 tonight at St. David's Church, 4700 Roland Ave., and conduct a workshop tomorrow (( on "Care of the Soul" from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. tomorrow at the church.

Admission: $8 for the lecture, $6 for senior citizens, $4 for full-time students with ID. The workshop is $50, $40 for seniors, $25 for students. Call (410) 367-3219.
