Baltimore City

SHOOTING: Western District -- A man was shot in the back at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday by an unidentified man in the 2000 block of Edmondson Ave. shortly after an argument between the two. The victim was listed in good condition at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

SHOOTING: Western District -- Two men were shot in the 2300 block of Edmondson Ave. about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday by a man who fired seven shots. One man was hit in the left shoulder and was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center. The other was struck in the left hand and was taken to Union Memorial Hospital. Both were treated and released.

CARJACKING: Northern District -- A man's car was stolen about 3 p.m. Wednesday by a gunman in the 5500 block of York Road.

THEFT: Western District -- A .45-caliber automatic pistol worth $250 was stolen between Sunday and Tuesday from a car parked in the 700 block of N. Fremont Ave.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A man was arrested for putting a gun to the head of a woman and threatening to kill her during an argument about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 800 block of S. Gilmor St. Freddy Moore, 56, who lives in the house, was charged with assault.

ARMED ROBBERY: Central District -- Two men wearing ski masks entered the B&M Supermarket in the 1800 block of Guilford Ave. and announced a robbery at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday. One man, armed with a gun, jumped over a counter and ordered an attendant to lie on the floor while he took an undisclosed amount of money.

ASSAULT, ROBBERY: Western District -- A man pushed a woman to the ground in the 2400 block of McCulloh St. about 3 p.m. Wednesday and stole her purse with $100 in it. He also took $180 in cash from her.

BURGLARY: Central District -- A door to a supply room at the United Artists Theaters in the first block of Market Place was pried open between Monday and Wednesday, and an unspecified amount of property was stolen.

ARMED ROBBERY: Central District -- Two men, one with a gun, robbed a woman of her wallet, which contained $80, in the 2200 block of St. Paul St. about 10:40 p.m. Wednesday.

BURGLARY: Central District -- The owner of Belysium Records store in the 2200 block of Maryland Ave. walked into the shop at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday and found a man who had broken in and was stealing a videocassette recorder. The owner chased the man to the fire escape and up to the roof. The burglar got away, but he dropped the VCR.

ASSAULT: Central District -- Two men walked into a laundromat in the 2400 block of St. Paul St. about 9 p.m. Wednesday, grabbed some of liquid bleach and threw it in the face of a woman who was waiting for her wash. The motive is unknown. The woman complained of irritated eyes and sought her own medical attention.

AUTO THEFT: Central District -- A 1988 Chevrolet truck was stolen about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday from the first block of W. 20th St.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into a home in the 2100 block of N. Dukeland St. between 9:15 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. Wednesday and stole a puppy that is half German shepherd and half Rottweiler.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A man knocked a woman to the ground in the 200 block of S. Smallwood St. Wednesday. Police arrested Willie Booker, 20, of the 2200 block of W. Lexington St., and charged him with assault.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- A color television, a videocassette recorder, and stereo equipment worth a total of $818 were stolen Wednesday afternoon from a home in the 2300 block of E. Eager St.

THEFT: Western District -- A Maryland license plate was reported stolen Wednesday from a car parked in the 200 block of Windsor Ave.

AUTO THEFT: Western District -- A 1993 Jeep Cherokee was stolen about 5 p.m. Wednesday from the 1600 block of N. Calhoun St.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman stole $2 about 10 p.m. Monday from a man in the 2500 block of Madison Ave.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A stereo, videocassette recorder, a camcorder, a Nintendo system, and jewelry were stolen Wednesday during the day from a home in the 4200 block of The Alameda. Entry was gained by breaking a basement window.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone broke through a window into a garage in the first block of Millbrook Road early Wednesday morning and stole a mountain bicycle worth $600.

THEFT: Northern District -- Clothes and a watch valued at $475 were stolen between noon and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday from a home in the 3600 block of Cottage Ave. while a resident slept.

BREAK-IN: Southwestern District -- Someone forced his way inside a locked building in the 1900 block of Deering Ave. Tuesday, but the home, recently vacated, was empty.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- A man walked into a house in the 300 block of Millington Ave. and, in front of two children who live there, gathered up about $649 in property and left.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- About $4,500 worth of property was stolen between Nov. 25 and Monday from a storage trailer in the 3100 block of Washington Blvd.
