* Mount Airy: Firefighters from Mount Airy assisted Howard County in investigating a house fire Monday on Long Corner Road. Carroll County units returned to service 25 minutes after the 3:06 p.m. alarm.
At 1:57 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters from Mount Airy again responded to Howard County to assist in extinguishing a house fire on Catoctin Spring Drive.
