Baltimore City

SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- A man was shot in the right thigh about 8 p.m. Tuesday by a gunman who demanded money from him and a woman in the 4500 block of Pimlico Road. The gunman ran off without taking any money. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital and released.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- The Dunkin' Donuts shop in the 7000 block of Reisterstown Road was robbed shortly before 12:10 a.m. Tuesday by a man who handed an employee a note demanding money. The man did not show a gun.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A man was robbed of $687 in the 3700 block of Towanda Ave. by a another man with a gun and a knife early Tuesday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman stole a $300 leather jacket from a man in the 4300 block of Pimlico Road early Tuesday.

ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- A man knocked a woman to the ground trying to steal her purse in the 3500 block of Clarks Lane. The incident occurred about 10:55 a.m. Tuesday and the assailant was chased away by a passer-by before he could get the woman's purse.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A man with a handgun robbed the ABC Discount Store in the 3700 block of W. Belvedere Ave. of $50 shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Central District -- A gunman robbed two people of a total of $46 in the 100 block of S. Light St. about 1 a.m. Wednesday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Central District -- Two people were robbed of a total of $325 by two men, one with a gun, in the 2200 block of Maryland Ave. about 8:35 p.m. Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Someone stole a television, a videocassette recorder, a Nintendo game, and a stereo system, all valued at $1,109, from a home in the 1800 block of Druid Hill Ave. between 7:35 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Central District -- About $210 worth of photography equipment was stolen sometime between noon and 3 p.m. Monday from the Noble Inc. business in the 2300 block of Maryland Ave.

AUTO THEFT: Central District -- A silver 1987 Mazda was stolen between 7:50 a.m. and 4:35 p.m. Tuesday from the 1200 block of McCulloh Street.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A 27-inch color television was stolen sometime before 9:45 p.m. Monday from the West Side Medical Clinic in the 2400 block of Reisterstown Road. Entry was gained by forcing a back door.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a private club in the 1600 block of Lawrence St. of $99 about 11 p.m. Monday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A woman reported she was robbed of $20 by a gunman who approached her about 10 p.m. Monday in the 2500 block of Madison Ave.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed from a man walking in the 600 block of Appleton St. of about $20 shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday.

ASSAULT, CAR THEFT: Western District -- Several men beat up a motorist who had given them a ride about 3:20 a.m. Tuesday and took the vehicle, a 1977 Chevrolet. The driver was not badly hurt, and the car was later found in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Ave. The victim said he had picked the men up in the 1500 block of Whittier Ave. after they asked for a ride.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A woman reported she was grabbed from behind in the 2100 block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 1:50 p.m. Tuesday by a man, who stole $190 from her.

STABBING: Western District -- A man was cut on the left arm and index finger about 5 a.m. Tuesday during an argument with another man at the victim's home in the 1100 block of N. Stricker St. Thomas Paul, 19, of the 1800 block of Druid Hill Ave., was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- Three men, at least one of whom carried a gun, robbed a man of about $20 in the 2300 block of McCulloh St. at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A color television worth $175 was reported stolen Tuesday from a home in the 600 block of Gold St.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into a home in the 2800 block of Walbrook Ave. Monday night and stole a washer and a dryer valued at $600.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A videocassette recorder, a camera, assorted jewelry, and a telephone were reported stolen at 6:35 a.m. Monday from the 500 block of Carrollton Ave.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A man with a gun stole $287 from a man walking in the 2300 block of W. Baltimore St. about 9:15 p.m. Monday.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A television worth $400 was stolen between Wednesday and Monday from the Self Discovery Early Learning Center in the 1200 block of Sherwood Ave.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A television, a videocassette recorder, a telephone, and a heater, all valued at $935, were stolen sometime between Wednesday and Sunday from an apartment in the 3800 block of Frankford Ave.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Tools valued at $758 were stolen from from a storage trailer at a work site in the 5900 block hTC of Erdman Ave. before 1:50 p.m. Sunday. The trailer was broken into after the thief cut a hole in a fence.
