PRINCETON, N.J. -- Municipal bond issuers announced yesterday the early redemption of nine issues totaling more than $32.9 million.

The issues being called are:

* Torrance, Calif., Series 1985 A, hospital revenue bonds (Torrance Memorial Medical Center) maturing Jan. 1, 1994, through Jan. 1, 1997, and Jan. 1, 2012. $24.88 million called at 102 on Jan. 1, 1993.

* Aurora, Ill., Series 1985, general obligation bonds maturing Jan. 1, 1994, through Jan. 1, 2000. $2.85 million called at par on Jan. 1, 1993.

* Evanston, Ill., Series 1982, water revenue bonds maturing Jan. 1, 1994, through Jan. 1, 2001. $4.1 million called at 102 on Jan. 1, 1993.

* Illinois Health Facilities Authority, Series 1983, revenue bonds (Westlake Community Hospital Project) maturing Jan. 1, 2013. All outstanding bonds called at 102 on Jan. 1, 1993.

* Boise State University, Idaho, Series 1972 E, housing system revenue bonds maturing July 1, 1993, through July 1, 2011. $1.08 million called at 102 on Jan. 1, 1993.

* Wayzata, Minn., Series 1985, general obligation bonds maturing Jan. 1, 1994, through Jan. 1, 2001. All outstanding bonds called at par on Jan. 1, 1993.

Ohio State Air Quality Development Authority, Series 1980, small business pollution control revenue bonds (Portsmouth Casting, Inc. Project) maturing Jan. 1, 2000. All outstanding bonds called at 102 on Jan. 1, 1993.

* Ohio State Water Development Authority, Series 1980, small business pollution control revenue bonds maturing Jan. 1, 2000. All outstanding bonds called at 102 on Jan. 1, 1993.

* Knoxville, Tenn., Series 1987 N, electric revenue bonds maturing July 1, 1995, through July 1, 2002. All of the above outstanding bonds called at 102 on Jan. 1, 1993.
