Baltimore City

SHOOTING: Northeastern District: -- A 15-year-old youth was in serious condition at Francis Scott Key Medical Center after being shot in the stomach Sunday night in a fight over a jacket. The teen-ager was in the 1800 block of Maulsby Court about 8 p.m. with a friend when a man in his 20s started chasing him. The older man cornered the boy in a building and struggled to take a jacket from him. When the victim resisted, the man shot him with a .38-caliber pistol.

SHOOTING: Northern District -- An 18-year-old man was shot in the buttocks Monday about 4:25 p.m. by a man he had been arguing with in the 400 block of E. 27th St. The victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital for treatment.

SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- A man was shot in the left leg about 8:50 p.m. Monday. Details of the shooting weren't available. The incident happened in the 2600 block of Gatehouse Drive. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital and released.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Two cartons of cigarettes, a solar calculator, eight 6-packs of soda, and $175 in cash were stolen sometime before 9:15 p.m. Sunday from Macer's Sub Shop in the 1700 block of W. North Ave. Entry was gained by forcing a rear door.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a knife and the other with a pistol, robbed a man of his wallet and $4 in the 2800 block of Edmondson Ave. about 9:45 p.m. Sunday.

THEFT FROM AUTO: Western District -- A man reported that someone broke into his car parked in the 500 block of Bloom St. late Sunday and took $1,500 worth of clothing, $500 worth of gold chains and $70 worth of cassette tapes.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Western District -- A man unlocking the door to his apartment in the 2600 block of Madison Ave. foiled an intended robbery by slamming the door on two men, one with a gun, who demanded money from him about 1:50 a.m. Monday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a gun, robbed two other men about 1:50 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of N. Bentalou St. The robbers took $65 from one victim and $30 from the other.

BURGLARY: Western District -- About 80 feet of copper wiring worth $50 was reported stolen at 8:52 a.m. Monday from a home in the 1800 block of W. North Ave. Entry was gained by forcing open a rear basement window.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- Two teen-agers, one with a gun, robbed a man of $10 in cash and a gold watch in the 2400 block of Eutaw Place about 6 p.m. Monday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men wearing ski masks robbed the Crossroads Liquors store in the 3700 block of Pennsylvania Ave. About $8,000 in cash was taken. The robbery was reported at 1:26 p.m. Monday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two men, at least one of whom was armed, stole a wallet and money about 11:10 a.m. Monday from a man in the 1600 block of Lockwood Road.

HANDGUN VIOLATION: A 15-year-old was arrested at 10:20 a.m. Monday at Northern High School after pointing a gun at an 18-year-old. The youth was charged as a juvenile with carrying a handgun.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone broke into the York Road Auto & Body Shop sometime over the weekend and stole unknown property. Entrance was gained by forcing a window.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A color television worth $330 was stolen Monday from a home in the 600 block of E. 35th St. The burglar entered through an unlocked front door.

SHOPLIFTING: Northern District -- A man entered Buriss and Kemp Drugs in the 3300 block of Greenmount Ave. shortly NTC before 7:45 p.m. Monday and took 10 rolls of paper towels and walked out the door without paying. The value of the paper towels is $6.90.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men robbed a delivery man for Maria's Restaurant & Carryout Shop in the 5500 block of York Road of $76 and the food he was carrying about 7:30 p.m. Monday.

THEFT: Northern District -- Money and jewelry all valued at $11,500 was stolen sometime over the weekend from a garage of a home in the 4300 block of Dewey Ave. The items were taken from a tool box.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone stole $717 worth of shoes and clothing from a home in the 500 block of Winston Ave. about 1 p.m. Monday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men, one with a gun, stole $60 from a man in the 2600 block of Garrison Blvd. about 10 p.m. Sunday.

CARJACKING: Northwestern District -- A Diamond Cab driver reported that a man choked him and took his cab about 8:30 p.m. Monday in the 4100 block of Ridgewood Ave. The attacker drove off. The victim did not require hospitalization.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- About $1,850 worth of school supplies were stolen after someone broke into the Maryvale Preparatory School for Girls in the 10300 block of Falls Road in Brooklandville. The theft occurred Sunday or Monday when a burglar entered through an unknown means and kicked in a vent panel at the school bookstore.
