Baltimore City

SHOOTING: Southern District -- A 23-year-old man was shot in the forehead early Monday after three men attempted to rob him in the 100 block of W. Cross St. The man, whose name was not released pending notification of relatives, was listed in critical condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The three men, two of whom were believed to have been armed, pulled up in a white Ford Escort about 1:10 a.m. and demanded money from the victim. He refused and was shot in the head above his eye. The attackers drove off and were being sought.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A man shoved a woman to the ground in the 2300 block of Druid Hill Ave. about 10 p.m. Saturday, took her purse containing $10 and fled. The woman was not injured.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men pointed a gun at a woman walking in the 2200 block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 7 p.m. Saturday and demanded that she turn over her leather coat worth $800. In addition to the coat, the men also took $100 in cash from the victim.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A man was standing near his home in the first block of Kerry Street at 8:50 p.m. Saturday when a gunman approached him and took his wallet, which contained the victim's identification but no money.

BURGLARY: Western District -- About $530 worth of clothing was stolen sometime before 1:45 a.m. Sunday from a home in the 900 block W. Lexington St. It appeared someone used a key to open the door.

THEFT: Western District -- A man reported that a woman stole $313 in cash from his wallet about 1:40 a.m. Sunday after he took her to his apartment in the 900 block of N. Kerry St.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- Someone with a gun took a brown leather coat worth $314 from a man walking in the 2400 block of Reisterstown Road about 3 p.m. Sunday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men pointed a gun at a woman in the 1300 block of W. Fayette St. about 4:25 p.m. Sunday and demanded she turn over her money. The victim gave the men $19, and they fled.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- A man reported he was robbed of $600 by three men, one of whom was armed with a gun and pointed it at him in the 2700 block of Baker St. about 7 p.m. Sunday.

LARCENY: Eastern District -- A one-year-old Rottweiler dog was stolen from the back yard of a house in the 1500 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. Someone broke a lock on a rear gate of the yard about 2:30 a.m. Sunday and either lured the animal outside or carried it off.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Eastern District -- A woman was struck in the head with a pipe in the 700 block of E. Chase St. by a man she claims to know. The victim reported she was standing in the street about 7:20 p.m. Sunday when the man approached her from behind and struck her in the head. She was listed in good condition at a hospital.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- About $80 in cash and jewelry was stolen from a home in the 400 block of S. Chapel St. after someone forced open a door. The break-in occurred sometime between 4:40 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Saturday.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Southeastern District -- A 20-year-old woman was listed in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital after having been stabbed in the back by a man during an argument in her home in the 1800 block of E. Lafayette Ave. The stabbing occurred about 7:40 p.m. Saturday. An arrest warrant has been issued for the attacker.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- A videocassette recorder, television, and several pieces of jewelry were stolen between Friday and Sunday from a home in the 300 block of S. Bouldin St. The thief entered by forcing open a kitchen window.

ASSAULT: Southeastern District -- A man reported that a stranger struck him and attempted to rob him at 4:50 p.m. Sunday as he was walking in the 2800 block of Boston St. The assailant did not get any money. The victim was not badly hurt.

STOLEN AUTO: Central District -- A 1987 Toyota Corolla was stolen between 3:30 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. Sunday from the 900 block of Cathedral St.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a home in the 3600 block of Greenway after breaking a living room window between Thursday and Sunday. The thief took a suitcase containing bed linen valued at $350.

LARCENY FROM AUTO: Northern District -- A purse and a camera worth a total of $285 were stolen before 7:20 p.m. Sunday from a car parked in the 2400 block of N. Charles St. The car's passenger-side window was smashed.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men took $219 in cash about 9:45 p.m. Saturday from a woman standing in the 700 block of Poplar Grove St. The men did not show a weapon but they threatened to harm the victim.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A man reported he was robbed of $180 by a woman who assaulted him about 10:40 p.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of Eagle St. The victim said the woman knocked him down on the street and grabbed the money from him.
